Welcome! I’m Will Sharp, a research fellow at University of Geneva, where I work with Giovanni Merlo on his project “Metaphysics We Can Believe In”.
In the summer of ’22 I finished my PhD in the department of philosophy at the University of Birmingham, where I worked under the supervision of Scott Sturgeon and Maja Spener. Just after that and until autumn of ’24, I was a postdoc in Israel at BGU of the Negev, where I worked with Ori Beck on his project on naïve realist epistemology.
My research focuses on the metaphysics of color and color experience, and it’s underwritten by a heavy reliance on science to adjudicate on that metaphysics. To learn more about my work, visit my Papers page, my Talks page, and my CV. To see my teaching experience, visit my Teaching page.
